OUR VILLA

OTHER OPTIONS

Private villas and beach houses on Airbnb or Booking.com in San Luis or central San Andrés. Everything is close, the island is small and easy to move around, but search close to El Hoyo Soplador.

WEATHER IN JANUARY

Warm and sunny, around 28–29°C during the day. Perfect beach weather, though it can be a little breezy. Pack sunscreen, swimsuits, and light clothes.

Island Tips

San Andrés is a beautiful island perfect for exploring. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your time!

GETTING AROUND

The best way to explore is by renting a beach buggy or golf cart. You can rent for a day (around 9-10am until 6pm) from various spots around the island - prices vary depending on location and buggy condition. You'll need a valid driving license. Taxis and public buses are also available if you prefer not to drive.

STAY CONNECTED

We recommend getting an eSIM with Airalo before you arrive. Use code DTRAVEL10 for 10% off, or DTRAVEL15 for 15% off if you're a new user.

MUST-SEE SPOTS

  • Sea of Seven Colours - the island's famous turquoise waters with incredible colour variations
  • Rocky Cay - one of the best snorkelling spots on the island
  • Hoyo Soplador - a dramatic coastal blowhole where waves shoot water into the sky
  • La Piscinita - a calm, clear natural pool perfect for swimming with fish
  • West View - natural pools with platforms, ladders, and even a slide into the sea
  • Johnny Cay - a beautiful day trip to a nearby island
  • Cocoplum Bay - a gorgeous long beach for relaxing

ACTIVITIES

  • Private boat tour along the Sea of Seven Colours with swimming and snorkelling stops
  • Beginner-friendly scuba diving (no certificate needed) - just don't fly within 18 hours after!
  • Stroll along Spratt Bight promenade at sunset

WHERE TO EAT

Some local favourites: La Pizzetta Florio, Donde Francesca, Sea Watch Caffe, Caffe Caffe (since 1992), Mr. Foodie, Artigiani Gelato, and La Regatta. For nightlife, check out Coco Loco Bar.

We can't wait to celebrate with you!
